Sunday ended up being a good day for me. I had a great time with Zoe and got in touch with a lot of old friends. And yesterday sam came over and he taught me how to hold the guitar correctly which solved most of the problems I was having with chords, and he taught me the intro to stairway to heaven. We had a good time. He convinced me to do something I haven't done in a long time; I actually left my house, not going somewhere, but in my neighborhood. He wanted to go to the park, and it was a great relief to act happy, and younger then my age, laughing on the swings as we got so high it felt the swing set would fall over.
After sam left Akilah called and we went to the beach, we spent hours in the water. It was 8 o'clock at night and the water was freezing with out the sun to warm it. The whole time we talked and screamed and giggled while dodging waves. The waves were enormous. Eventually we gave up on jumping them and dived under each one. I loved running up and down the beach, narrowly beating her each time. Then at her house we watched wedding crashers on Adam's computer with him and Manda. I've missed Manda, we lost touch after we both went off to different private schools.
This morning Akilah and I woke up early and ate eggs and ice cream for breakfast. It was odd but amazing. We went to bat man begins because she insisted on seeing that particular movie. We fought about the movie choice as we always do, but we both ended up loving is. It always happens that way.
